(INDIANAPOLIS) - Police have arrested a man who allegedly robbed an east side business in May by squirting gasoline on the teller and threatening to burn the business to the ground.
Officers were called to the Cashland in the 1600 block of North Arlington Avenue May 25.
The teller said a man came into the store with a water bottle and squirted gasoline underneath the protective glass, threatening to light it on fire if the teller didn't comply.
Police now believe that man was Leo Carr, 58, of Indianapolis, and they arrested him Tuesday.
Police said Carr is suspected in a similar robbery that took place June 25 at an Ace Cash Express store in the 7200 block of North Michigan Road.
The teller there reported that a man matching Carr's description squirted gasoline on her and threatened to light it if she didn't give him money.
Carr is currently being held in the Marion County Jail on preliminary charges of robbery.
Carr's bond is set at $20,000.
