(SHERIDAN) - According to Sheridan Police Chief Bill Curl three boys made a vinegar bomb Thursday and were trying to set if off in a driveway in the 900 block of South Main Street when one boy was injured.
Police said when the bomb did not go off, one boy went to check on it. The bomb exploded while the boy was looking at it.
The boy was taken to Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, to be treated for an arm injury.
Police say the two other boys were arrested.
Vinegar bombs are made with vinegar and baking soda, which are usually placed in a plastic drink bottle.
