(FISHERS) - A pharmacist at a Fishers drugstore was held at gunpoint during an early morning robbery.
The CVS Pharmacy near 131st Street and State Road 37 was held up just after 4:30 a.m. Friday.
The two employees in the store told police that a man approached the pharmacy and pulled a silver handgun.
He then forced the pharmacist to the back of the store and ordered her to open the safe, police said.
The man took prescription medication from the store and ran, the employees said.
No one was injured in the robbery.
The man was described as white wearing dark pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, black and white sneakers and a black mask.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Fishers police Detective Kevin Kobli at 317-595-3300.
