(INDIANAPOLIS) - Police have arrested someone in connection with last weekend’s fatal shooting of a 21-year-old woman.
Michael Mason, 29, of Indianapolis, was preliminarily charged with the murder of Latonya Glass, 21.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 3400 block of North Carollton Avenue just before midnight Aug. 11, where they found Glass suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Glass was transported to Methodist Hospital in critical condition, where she was pronounced dead the next morning, police said.
Metro police detectives took Mason into custody without incident Friday at a parole office in the 6400 block of E. 30th Street, police said.
Police said they took Mason to police headquarters for questioning, where they later arrested him.
Mason is being held without bond.
Police said they have not established a motive for the shooting.
