(INDIANAPOLIS) - Pepper spray likely sickened several Indianapolis students on school bus Tuesday, police said.
A bus from Kipp College Preparatory School stopped near 36th Street and Butler Avenue just after 3 p.m. after several kids fell ill.
Of the 16 students on the bus at the time, five were taken to Community East Hospital to be checked out.
Police said they believe pepper spray was discharged on the bus. They were working to determine the source of the irritant.
