(GREENWOOD) - Center Grove Schools may undergo some security improvements after a report revealed the need for upgrades.
Julian Grace, of 24-Hour-News 8 reports, currently the district has nine buildings, and only two of those school buildings require visitors to access the building through the office.
The district paid a little more than $37,000 for the report by an outside firm. According to school board member John Steed, CSO Architects is expected to produce the finished report in October.
Center Grove officials have not said if they will implement suggested changes immediately after report is complete. Nor is it known how much the upgrades will cost. Leaders for the district made it very clear there have been no major security problems.
