(INDIANAPOLIS) - Several Wayne Township Schools have been scrubbed cleaned after students were found with bedbugs, the district said.
Families were alerted Tuesday that two students had come to school with bedbugs Thursday.
Ben Davis High School and Sanders School, where the siblings attend, along with Wayne Township Preschool and Bridgeport Elementary, whose students shared a bus with the siblings, have been thoroughly cleaned and treated by an exterminator, the district said.
The two buses that the students rode on were also cleaned, the district said.
"The extermination company is working separately with the family in which the case originated to treat the bedbugs in their residence," the district said in a statement. "We are providing educational services to the students remotely until the situation in their home is remedied."
