(MOORESVILLE) - Items stolen from various burglary incidents in the Mooresville area were recovered during a routine traffic stop Monday morning, according to the Mooresville Police Department.
Police pulled over a vehicle near the Brookmore Addition around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning. Neither the driver of the vehicle nor the passenger has a valid drivers license and the vehicle was towed.
Officers searched the car and found items that had been reported stolen from various vehicles in the Mooresville and Brooklyn area.
Police have returned some of the recovered items to their rightful owners. Other items have not been claimed.
Two men have pending criminal charges in this case. The names of the suspects have not yet been released.
