(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus woman is accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of computers from Walmart.
Officers were called to the store on the west side of Columbus just before noon Tuesday after the Walmart security team spotted a woman taking two computers and other merchandise, The Republic reported.
Police said the woman's description matched that of a thief who stole items from a nearby Auto Zone earlier in the day.
Tiffany A. Searcy, 27, was stopped by police and arrested after more than $1,000 of items for which she didn't have receipts were found in her truck, police said.
Searcy faces a preliminary charge of theft and possession of a stolen license plate. Police said she could face more charges.
