Bank Robbed In Poland

(POLAND) - Multiple Police agencies responded to a robbery at a First Financial Bank on S.R. 42 in Poland, Ind., that occurred around 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Jaclyn Bevis, of News reports that white male anywhere from 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a dark shirt, dark pants and a hat walked into the bank demanding money from one of the two tellers working.

The man showed one of the tellers a handgun and demanded money again. There were no customers in the building at the time.

He gathered an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot to the east of the bank.

Indiana State Police were arrived on the scene within 13 minutes of the initial distress call to dispatch.

Local Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Officers, Indiana State Police Troopers and Clay County Sheriff's Deputies responded and are currently searching the area for the man, and will be continuing their thorough investigation of the case.
