(GREENWOOD) - A Greenwood man is in custody after police say he attacked one of his sons with a sword, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner, the Daily Journal reports.
Police say Harjinder Singh, 46, got into an argument with his sons Wednesday morning. Singh reportedly grabbed a sword that was hanging on a nearby wall, and hit one of his son's on the head.
He hit his son with the sword a second time, before his other son wrestled the weapon away from him.
Singh and his son were treated by medics and his son was taken to Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis for additional treatment.
Singh was taken to the Johnson County Jail where he is being held on charges of criminal recklessness and battery with a deadly weapon.
