(GREENSBURG) - Greensburg Community Schools sent out an alert Monday, asking parents to watch their children at bus stops after a 13-year-old girl told police she was abducted on her way to school.
Aishah Hasnie, of Fox59 reports, the teenager told police she was walking to the Greensburg Jr. High School up an alley near the Automotive Connection on North Lincoln Street, when two men in a black Dodge truck drove up and forced her inside the vehicle.
Demaree received an email alert from the district which warned parents to keep a close eye on their children.
It read in part:
"The Greensburg Police Department and Greensburg Community Schools are asking parents to watch their children more closely at bus stops and for all of our community to keep a lookout as our children walk to and from school."
Police describe the suspects' vehicle as a shiny, black Dodge single cab truck with a loud exhaust.
The driver is described as a white man in his 50's, around 5'8" or 5'9" with a big stomach, brownish/gray hair with a goatee.
The passenger is described as a white man also in his 50's, taller than 6' with a bald head and a mustache.
