(TERRE HAUTE) - UPDATE: WTHI News 10 spoke with a relative of the victim at Methodist and found that he underwent surgery on his abdomen, which was successful.
The victim, James Brown, is now recovering from the surgery.
News 10 has also discovered the name of the suspect in custody.
Charles Corn was arrested after stabbing a man, and fleeing the scene on Saturday night in Terre Haute.
One man is being treated for serious injuries, another in custody, as a result of a stabbing that happened Saturday night in Terre Haute
We don't have a lot of details right now; however, Terre Haute Police Officers responded to a call of a possibly injured person at a home located at 682 Lafayette Ave. around 8:00 p.m.
The victim was immediately taken to Union Hospital to be treated for serious injuries resulting from the stabbing.
Due to the severity of the injuries, the man was then flown to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for further treatment.
THPD are investigating the case and have not said what led to the stabbing; however, they have informed us that one suspect has been arrested in connection with the case.
Officers stated the suspect in custody originally fled after the stabbing occurred.
