(TERRE HAUTE) - Police are looking for a man that robbed the Vigo County Federal Credit Union in Terre Haute Friday morning.
t just happened just after 11 a.m. at the Vigo County Federal Credit Union at 8th and Walnut.
Police say a man passed a note to a teller, demanding money.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of money and fled southbound.
Terre Haute Police Detective Pete Holvey says a K-9 officer was brought in, and picked up the suspect's scent in the nearby neighborhood. Police followed the trail, but were unable to locate the man.
Police say he's a black male in his mid-thirties, between 5'8" and 6'0" tall with a medium build.He was last seen wearing a blue button up shirt and one glove.
