Representative asks inspector general to investigate Daniels’ hiring at Purdue
Brown is requesting that investigation by letter.
Fox59 reports, Democratic State Representative Charlie Brown is now asking the state’s inspector general to investigate his hiring by Purdue.
Brown is requesting that investigation by letter.
First, he alleges the governor misused state property for personal reasons, when he directed his staff to use the state media advisory network and email system, so he could disseminate information clearly unrelated and outside his official duties as governor.
Also, he wants to investigate whether Daniels’ job as president is actually ghost employment after he “asked that any work” on the president`s office at Purdue University be cancelled.
Brown also wants them to look into any attempt by the governor to lobby the legislature, which the law says he can’t do for one year after leaving office.
