(GREENSBURG) - An 18-year-old woman told Greensburg Police she was abducted by two men in a truck and sexually assaulted before being dropped off along a country road north of town Monday night.
Aishah Hasnie of Fox59, reports it's the second report of an abduction and sexual assault in the community in one week.
Detective Bill Meyerrose with the Greensburg Police Department said the woman was waiting for a ride outside the Wal-Mart at the Greensburg Commons Shopping Center when two men in a black pickup truck asked her if she wanted a ride and then grabbed her and pulled her into the truck..
She reported that the men sexually assaulted her through her clothes as they drove her about five miles north on State Road 3 and then dropped her off at a gravel u-shaped driveway.
She called police from her cell phone.
Police said last Monday, a 13-year-old girl reported she was abducted and sexually assaulted in a similar manner as she walked to the Greensburg Junior High School.
The girl said she was walking up an alley near the Automotive Connection on North Lincoln street when a black Dodge pickup truck pulled up beside her and two men asked her if she needed a ride. She also declined, but was forced inside the truck. She told police the men fondled her through her clothing as they drove around the town square and then dropped her off near the place they picked her up.
Police said the 13-year-old described the suspects as two white men in their 50's. One is heavy set, about 5'8", with brownish-gray hair and a goatee. The other man is taller than 6', balding, and has a mustache.
