(PLAINFIELD) - Plainfield Community Middle School officials sent a letter home Friday after threats were found written on a bathroom stall.
Reba Chenoweth, of FOX59 News, reports, Officials say the writing alluded to a bomb threat for next Thursday, Sept. 20.
School administrators are working with the Plaifnield Police Department to find who is responsible.
"While we do not believe students are in any immediate danger, we do take all threats of violence seriously. As a precautionary step, additional security measures will be in place next week," said Superintendent Scott Olinger in the letter.
Officials say the person or persons responsible will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
