(CLAY COUNTY) - Indiana State Police and local sheriff departments investigate two robberies.
Gina Glaros, of WTHITV reports, one of them happened Saturday morning in Poland, Indiana.
No one was injured.
Names and descriptions are not being released at this time.
However, Clay County deputies say the two suspects have a criminal history.
It happened at Poland Hardware and Grocery on State Road 42.
Police say one man held up the clerk with a gun while a driver waited outside.
Clay County deputies arrived a couple minutes within the call to dispatch and found a hysterical employee.
"He approached the counter, laid the items on the counter, and also asked for a package of cigarettes. When she turned to reach for the cigarettes, he presented a hand gun, a fire arm, and basically asked her for the money that was in the cash register," Clay County Deputy James Switzer said.
The employee was able to give a detailed description of the suspect.
Another person sitting outside of the store described the car that drove away.
Police believe these suspects are in Indianapolis.
Meanwhile, Clay County deputies say that another robbery happened at the Dollar General in Owen County, within an hour of the first incident.
They call that incident similar to the one in Clay County.
Police are investigating to find out whether these two robberies were related.
Two suspects were arrested this afternoon in Marion County.
At this point, it's unclear how these arrests relate to the robberies.
