(INDIANAPOLIS) - A woman accused of binding her roommate with duct tape for hours was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Tuesday.
Alice Howe had originally faced 11 different charges. She pleaded guilty to attempted murder and received the 25-year sentence. She'll also serve one year of probation.
Officers went to the apartment in the 2900 block of South Bluff Road in October 2011 after neighbors reported hearing banging on the wall and loud music.
Police found a stereo blaring and the 68-year-old woman bound and gagged. She identified the person who bound her as Howe, her roommate at the time.
