(VIGO COUNTY) - There have been 50 cases of chickenpox in Vigo County.
The Vigo County Health Department made the announcement Tuesday.
The health department says the most recent cases include two cases at Terre Haute South Vigo High School and four cases at the Booker T. Washington Alternative School and nursery.
Any student who has not been vaccinated for the chickenpox will be excluded from school starting Wednesday, October 31st, until November 26th.
The health department says they're working hard to contact parents of students who face exclusion.
There will be an immunization clinic Wednesday at Terre Haute South from 7:30 AM to 10 AM.
It will be for individuals who need the vaccine to avoid exclusion.
