Body Found Near Railroad Tracks

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis police were called to the near south side following reports of a body found alongside railroad tracks.

Officers responded to the 300 block of East Raymond Street near Madison Avenue around 4 a.m. this morning.

The crime scene is located about 100 yards north of Raymond Street, along railroad tracks operated by CSX Transportation.

CSX police officers contacted IMPD after discovering the body.

IMPD Homicide investigators are currently on scene.
