(KOKOMO) - A pair of pedestrians were seriously injured Saturday night after they were struck by a vehicle at 1530 S. Dixon Road.
The call came over the scanner at around 10:20 p.m. that one of the pedestrians had suffered a traumatic amputation causing them to lose one of their limbs.
The other pedestrian was said to be unconscious.
First responders quickly called for backup and extra officers to assist with crowd control. Both of the injured were flow by separate helicopters to hospitals.
