(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirms a child is in critical condition after an accident involving a driver school semi Saturday morning.
Officers say the incident occurred just after 8:30 a.m. near Shelby and Raymond Streets. The crash involved a driver school semi and a van.
Witnesses say the semi truck had the green light and had just entered the intersection when the crash occurred.
According to a release from IFD, the drivers were not injured. However, a 6-year-old boy and an 8-year-old boy were transported to Riley Children's Hospital. One was in critical condition.
