(GOSHEN) - A Michigan-based manufacturer announced plans to close its Goshen plant, leaving 450 employees without a job.
Employees of Cequent Performance Products were told of the company's decision to move the plant's operations to Mexico at shift change Wednesday. It's unclear when the company will officially close their doors.
The plant manufactures hitches, weight distribution systems, fifth wheels, underbed structures and gooseneck systems.
The transition will begin after the new year.
