Body Found In Car That Was Set On Fire

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A body was found in a burned-out car on Indianapolis’ east side Monday night, police said.

Officers were called to the 3700 block of North Lasalle Street just before 11 p.m. on a report of a vehicle on fire.

When the flames were extinguished, a body was found inside the car, police said.

It was unclear if the body was that of a man or a woman, police said.
