(INDIANAPOLIS) - Police and firefighters responded to a single-vehicle crash early Christmas morning.
Dispatchers received the call just before 5 a.m. Tuesday of a vehicle that struck a pole at the intersection of 82nd Street and North College Avenue.
When firefighters arrived they determined that the driver and his six passengers needed to be extricated from the vehicle.
The driver suffered possible leg and other internal injuries.
Two adults and four children were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. They, along with the driver, were transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment.
