(INDIANAPOLIS) - Metro police officers and evidence technicians investigated an apparent burglary at a Irvington area church.
Officers responded to the Irvington Presbyterian Church around 2 p.m. Monday.
According to a public police report, the pastor told police he and another person were opening the church when they discovered damage to their building.
The report states burglars apparently smashed an interior reinforced office window and ransacked rooms.
Additionally, the pastor told police he believed a flat screen television and a defibrillator were also stolen.
Police discovered additional vandalism to the basement where burglars apparently discharged fire extinguishers damaged mirrors with graffiti.
