(WINCHESTER) - An 18-year-old man stabbed his roommate after he ate some of his Thanksgiving leftovers, police said.
Officers were called to a home at 524 N. West St. in Winchester late Sunday on a report of an altercation between two men, the Palladium-Item reported.
Police said Taz J. Miller got upset with his roommate after the man ate food that he had brought home from Thanksgiving at his grandmother's house.
The argument then turned violent, with Miller stabbing his roommate in the upper arm and in the leg and trying to strangle him, police said.
The roommate suffered only minor injuries. Miller was also treated after he was bitten by a dog during the altercation.
Miller was charged Thursday with battery with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness and strangulation. His trial was set for March.
