(SOUTH BEND) - A South Bend city police officer is suspended five days without pay for leaking a report to the news media.
The city's Board of Public Works announced the suspension of Patrolman Jack Stilp on Thursday.
Stilp told the media that he had filed a report claiming another officer made threatening comments to him.
The "South Bend Tribune" reports it stemmed from a phone conversation between Stilp and St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Commander Tim Corbett in April.
Corbett earlier received a five day suspension for making the call to Stilp.
