(MEROM) - Just before 9:30 Saturday morning, Sullivan County Sheriff’s office received a 911 call reporting a death in the 10400 block of West County Road 350 North in Merom, from the son of the victim.
The son was making a routine visit when he found his father dead. The man said he found his father fully clothed, on the floor with signs of trauma and noticed that some electronics had been taken from the house.
The deceased victim is 85-year-old Lowell R. Badger. His family has been notified.
Indiana State Police is requesting anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area between 8 p.m. on December 7 and 9:30 the following morning, to contact detectives at the Putnamville Post, 765-653-4114.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning in Terre Haute.
