(TERRE HAUTE) - An arrest made in a Wabash Valley murder case.
Chris Essex of WTHI reports that William Powell died Tuesday at the Vigo County Jail of blunt force trauma to the stomach.
Inmates alerted jailers to a man unresponsive in a cell.
Authorities tried to revive Powell, but were unsuccessful.
After an investigation, police issued a warrant for Jimmy Ross; he was taken into custody just after 5:00 Wednesday afternoon.
Ross is charged with involuntary manslaughter and battery resulting in serious bodily injury.
