(CLOVERDALE) - A wild fight involving strangulation and a stabbing ended with a car crashing into a Putnam County building early Saturday morning, police said.

Police said the fight led to Brice Steinbaker, 21, and Terry Gulley Jr., 24, exchanging punches.
Steinbaker attempted to strangle Gulley who retaliated by stabbing Steinbaker in the face with a sharp object, a media release said.
During the fight, the vehicle accelerated across Main Street and struck an unknown building in the 50 block of South Main Street, police said.
Nearby witnesses noticed the disturbance and detained the three occupants of the vehicle.

Gulley and the third person involved, Jenneya Bruce, 31, became combative with Putnam County medics and had to be restrained.
All three were treated and released from the hospital and then taken to the Putnam County Jail.
Damage to the building was minimal, but the vehicle was considered a total loss, police said.
