(ANDERSON) - Meth Suppression Units from the Pendleton Post found 21 separate methamphetamine labs in various stages of manufacture in an abandoned home in the 200 block of East 15th Street, a media release said.
RTV6 reports, troopers entered the home around 8 p.m. Friday evening and found the meth labs as well as precursors to make meth.
Troopers were in the home until 1:30 a.m. cleaning up and processing the toxic chemicals, a media release said.
Police said due to the amount of explosive and toxic chemicals in the house, the abandoned house jeopardized other homes in the neighborhood.
Officers started the investigation on Jan. 8 when police checked Pseudoephedrine logs at retail stores in the Anderson area.
No arrests were made last night but the investigation is ongoing.
Troopers ask if anyone has information about the home or who was living there to call the Pendleton Post at 1-800-527-4752.
