(INDIANAPOLIS) - Police arrested an Indianapolis woman who fired a gun that slightly injured a small child.
Detectives arrested 26-year-old Andrea Drake with a felony charge of criminal recklessness Saturday.
Drake told police she fired a gun during a disturbance in the 2000 block of Adina Boulevard around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
The child was believed to be sitting in a car that was being fired upon. Investigators believe the child was slightly injured from a graze wound or by flying glass, but had not been shot.
The child was examined at the scene by EMS personnel and was considered to be in good condition.
Drake is being held on a $15,000 bond. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
