(HAMILTON COUNTY) - The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says an ambulance carrying a patient was involved in a serious accident Saturday morning.
The incident occurred around 8 a.m. Saturday morning in the 24000 block of SR 37. Officers say the ambulance was traveling south on SR 37 when it slid off the road, into a ravine, and hit a tree.
Three people, a driver, medic, and the dialysis patient, were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. However, the crash was considered serious since there was a patient on board the ambulance.
SR 37 was closed for a bit while crews responded to the scene.
