(SELLERSBURG) - Indiana State Police have arrested two after heroin is found during a traffic stop.
WHAS11 reports 40-year-old Christopher Stidham and his sister 36-year-old Connie Stidham of Austin, Ind. were arrested after their vehicle was stopped near the 23 mile marker just inside of Clark County on I-65 south.
ISP suspected heroin in the vehicle and called K-9 units to the scene where dogs noticed the controlled substance.
The pair was arrested and is currently facing numerous charges including possession of a hypodermic syringe, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
The Stidham's are currently housed at the Clark County Jail awaiting their first court appearance.
