(INDIANAPOLIS) - Officers dispatched on a residential burglar alarm Tuesday night found a large amount of marijuana, vehicles, guns and money.
IMPD officers were called to the 1900 block of Cross Willow Lane around 8 p.m. to the report of a residential burglar alarm.
When police arrived they found an open back door and broken window.
After searching the home, police found a large amount of suspected marijuana and called Southeast District narcotic detectives.
Detectives were granted a search warrant and found six large suspected marijuana plants, 27 handguns, five rifles, one shotgun, and several rounds of ammunition, according to a release.
Officers took 52-year-old George Schlemmer into custody.
Schlemmer faces preliminary charges of dealing in marijuana and possession of marijuana, both felonies. He was taken to the Marion County Prosecutor's Office and awaits formal charges.
