(SHELBYVILLE) - A former cheerleading coach accused of having a sexual relationship with a student will not have to register as a sex offender.
Megan Crafton of Indianapolis was the cheerleading coach at Shelbyville High School. She was originally charged with child seduction last year for having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student.
Crafton pleaded guilty Thursday to a lesser charge and will not have to serve any more time in jail.
