(UNDATED) - Indiana lawmakers say they don’t expect to see any movement towards the state switching to the Central Time Zone.
Speaking on WVUT's Meet Your Legislators, State Representative Kreg Battles of Vincennes says he would like to see the state in one time zone whether it's the Central or Eastern Time Zone.
State Senator Lindel Hume of Princeton says if you look at the way the actual time zone lines are divided most of Indiana should be in the Central time zone.
He says it doesn't make sense that Princeton and Vincennes are in separate time zones.
Two bills that proposed moving Indiana to the Central Time Zone have yet to have a hearing in the House and are most likely dead for this session.
