(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis picked up a fresh coating of snow Sunday and only made it to a high of 24.
Chikage Windler of WTHR reports that more snow is on the way. Another Alberta clipper swings through the state Monday, bringing the heaviest snow to northern Indiana.
The Indianapolis metro area will see up to an inch of snow Monday. Monticello, Kokomo and Muncie could see one to two inches. Marion and Fort Wayne could get two to four inches. Snow will move into northwest Indiana early Monday. By midday it will move southward towards Indianapolis, then moving east into Ohio during the afternoon.
We've had three straight days below freezing and could tack on two more before a thaw. But it's coming!
The next system moving in Thursday looks like mainly rain with a slight chance of a rain/snow mix if it arrives early or stays late. We surge into the 40s to end the week. Our average high is 37.
