Police Investigating Toddler's Death

(MARION) - Officials with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department say they are investigating the death of a toddler later Wednesday night.

Officers were called to the Maplewood Village, near 16th Street and South Miller Avenue, around 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

The child was around 2-years-old. Officials are not yet saying whether the child was a boy or a girl.

More information is expected to be released today.
