(STATEHOUSE) - It looks like the bill proposing Indiana allow alcohol sales on Sunday is dead in Committee.
The Public Policy Committee failed to meet today thereby not voting on the measure.
Public Policy Committee chair Bill Davis has not stated anything publicly, but unless he calls a committee meeting out of sequence before next Tuesday for a vote, the bill will not move to the House floor.
The bill's author, Representative Sean Eberhart says although he has not heard directly from Davis, he is still hopeful the committee will meet and move the measure to the full house for discussion.
