(LAFAYETTE) - A traffic stop led Indiana State Police to a rolling meth lab.
Troopers pulled over a 1999 Kia after seeing an expired license plate Monday night. Investigators noticed a strong chemical smell coming from the vehicle and found a mobile meth lab inside.
The driver and two passengers were taken into custody.
Valorie Smith, 38, was charged with manufacturing meth, possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance. Police said she was driving the vehicle.
The passengers--35-year-old Casey Lee and 33-year-old Heather Wales--were charged with manufacturing meth and possession of meth. Wales faces an additional charge of maintaining a common nuisance.
