(TERRE HAUTE) - State police say they have arrested a 25-year-old Terre Haute man on charges of child pornography and child exploitation.
Sgt. Joe Watts says police arrested Emery Norton at his home Thursday following a weeks-long investigation. He says several thousand pornographic images of children ranging in age from newborn to 13 years old and hundreds of pornographic videos which Watts described as notoriously graphic were found on computers at the home.
Watts said police found evidence Norton was sharing the images with others.
It was not known whether Norton has hired an attorney yet because the charges against Norton had not yet been filed online. He was being held in the Vigo County Jail on Thursday.
