(LAFAYETTE) - Police in Lafayette say a woman with a blood alcohol content of more than three times the legal limit caused a four-car accident Friday.
Indiana State Police say 44-year-old Gail L. Kronewitter was exiting off a ramp on I-65 southbound when she failed to stop and hit another vehicle. That car then pushed two other vehicles forward, police say.
No one was injured in the crash.
Kronewitter was preliminarily charged with operating while intoxicated after she tested a .30 percent blood alcohol content. She also faces a charge of speed too fast to avoid collision.
She was taken to the Tippecanoe County Jail.
