(INDIANAPOLIS) - A seventh grader from Crown Point will represent Indiana in the National Geographic Bee in Washington, D.C. next month.
Thirteen year-old Sean K. Ives attends Trinity Lutheran School, and placed first in the state's Geographic Bee Friday at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
Ian Bercaw, an eighth grader at Woodside Middle School in Fort Wayne, placed second in the state competition. Eighth grader Nicholas Dye from Waterloo, was the third place winner.
