(HENDERSON, KY) - A Henderson, Kentucky man is in police custody on suspicion of making a threat against Henderson County High School.
The Courier & Press reports 20-year-old Brenden Mathis was arrested on a charge of second-degree terrorist threatening, a Class D felony.
Authorities say Mathis was in a restaurant Sunday morning commenting about how he could use explosives at the school. A patron heard the comments and reported them. The person who heard Mathis also took a smartphone photo of him.
Authorities say Mathis is a former student of Henderson County High School.
