Man Dies After Tractor Falls Into Pond

(GRANT COUNTY) - According to a release from the DNR, a Grant County man was driving his tractor Wednesday night when he did not return to his house.

Family members tried to find him, but were not able to. DNR officers were called to search for the man.

Officers found track marks that led to a pond in the backyard. Divers were able to locate and recover the body of the Grant County man.

His name has not yet been released.

Alcohol is believed to be a possible contributing factor in this accident.
