(MONTICELLO) - Police say a Monticello woman was arrested after she slept through her baby crying for over an hour.
The Monticello Herald Journal report the Monticello Police Department received a call from a neighbor who heard the baby crying. The neighbor told police she knocked on Haley A. Marshall's door and rang the doorbell, but she did not respond.
Police arrived on scene and found drugs next to 21-year-old Marshall's bed.
Marshall was arrested and is facing charges of neglect of a dependent, possession of marijuana and possession of synthetic drugs.
