(INDIANAPOLIS) - The city of Indianapolis is now sifting through proposals to redevelop the north portion of the old Market Square Arena site.
The deadline for proposals ended Monday.
The mayor's spokesman Mark Lotter says development teams will review all of the proposals to understand their concepts and the economics involved. He says they'll narrow down the proposals will hopefully have a winning project selected by the end of the year.
Market Square Arena closed in October 1999 and was demolished in July 2001.
